Dr. Rhett Roberson is a graduate of Georgia State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program (2009) and has been practicing as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopaedics and sports for a decade. He completed Mercer University’s inaugural Residency Program  in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy program in 2010. He has since completed a Fellowship  through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) and secured a board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He is also a Certified Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional, APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor and holds advanced training/certifications in dry needling, spinal mobilization/manipulation, kinesiotaping, and neurodynamics.  

Dr. Roberson has served as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Mercer University assisting in the entry level Applied Anatomy and Musculoskeletal courses since 2011 and is now Program Coordinator of  Mercer University Residency Program in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.   He is also CEO and founding partner in a PT continuing education company  as well as COO and founding member of a non-profit healthcare mentoring company. Rhett  has been able to coordinate and teach in several continuing education courses including dry needling and spinal manipulation courses.

He has also served on the Georgia Foundation  for Physical Therapy board since 2011 and is currently serving as the Vice President. Since 2006 he has has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) including the Orthopaedic and Private Practice sections, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT), and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia were he recently served on the board as the Local Area Network Director for South/Coastal Georgia and is formerly the Chair of the Private Practice Special Interest Group in Georgia.   

Dr. Roberson's clinical specialties include manual therapy, chronic pain, neurodynamics, dry needling, spinal manipulation, sports and athletic injuries, post surgical rehabilitation, and health/wellness and injury prevention. In his free time Rhett enjoys working out, running, mountain biking, hiking, woodworking, playing with his black lab Sadie and cheering on his alma mater, the Georgia Bulldogs.
